Sr. Software Developer (2 openings) in Las Vegas, NV:
Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend systems in cloud environments. Perform technical and functional analysis of backend systems and provide professional solutions to system and coding issues for optimal performance. Design complex database schemas (SQL & NoSQL) and implement scalable data models. Conduct code reviews for junior developers, provide technical support on code quality and design patterns.
Req: Master's degree or equiv. in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology or related. Strong skills in programming, debugging and troubleshooting software applications; proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, AWS, Postman, Jira and In-depth knowledge of web systems, APIs and data structures.

Basic

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5-8 years of IT experience in software development in developing web applications.
• 4 -7 years of strong JAVA/ J2EE, Spring MVC and RESTful webservice experience.

Preferred

• 4-7 years of experience with HTML5, Angular 2 with Typescript and above, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript experience.
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles.

• Provide coaching, training and professional development to all staff.
• Oversee offboarding and exit interviews.
• Ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures.
• Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits.

• Human resources experience required.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the annual budget cycle and monthly/quarter forecasts.
• Analyze financial results and communicate business insights to leadership.
• Serve as the trusted advisor to leadership. Assess risks and opportunities versus annual company targets. Evaluate forecast outputs to optimize future results.
• Participate in appropriate training to enable the adoption of new processes, tools, and models.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency with Office software and SQL.
• Experience with large data sets and exposure to BI tools such as EPM, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, a plus.
