Software Engineer • Location: Remote • Full-time
Responsibilities:
• Develop microservices on Amazon Web Services (AWS) by building loosely coupled services for client engagements; assist in migrating workloads from AWS EKS to AWS ECS; implement the API Gateway pattern to support security and fault tolerance; configure service registry and discovery using Netflix Eureka; and incorporate the Hystrix API for fallback mechanisms within microservice applications.
• Develop and maintain back-end services and RESTful web APIs using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and Express.js for middleware configurations; implement REST endpoint security through JWT and Spring Security to address authentication and authorization needs; and deploy Node.js applications on AWS Lambda using serverless patterns.
• Develop front-end microservices and user-facing web interfaces using ReactJS and Bootstrap, building components, layouts, and responsive design elements that deliver consistent user experiences across desktop and mobile clients.
• Implement data persistence layers using MySQL and NoSQL stores including DynamoDB, MongoDB (via Mongoose with Node.js), and Amazon S3; manage database transactions using Spring transaction management to support data consistency; and write data-access code following established design patterns.
• Utilize AWS cloud services—including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, and supporting infrastructure—to deploy client application components; package and deploy individual microservice applications using Docker containers; and use Apache Kafka for event distribution and asynchronous communication between services.
• Use Git for version control and Jenkins for build and deployment processes, configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipeline steps that support integration, testing, and release workflows across client engagements.
Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field (or foreign degree equivalent).

Sr. Software Developer (2 openings) in Las Vegas, NV:
Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend systems in cloud environments. Perform technical and functional analysis of backend systems and provide professional solutions to system and coding issues for optimal performance. Design complex database schemas (SQL & NoSQL) and implement scalable data models. Conduct code reviews for junior developers, provide technical support on code quality and design patterns.
Req: Master's degree or equiv. in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology or related. Strong skills in programming, debugging and troubleshooting software applications; proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, AWS, Postman, Jira and In-depth knowledge of web systems, APIs and data structures.

Basic

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5-8 years of IT experience in software development in developing web applications.
• 4 -7 years of strong JAVA/ J2EE, Spring MVC and RESTful webservice experience.

Preferred

• 4-7 years of experience with HTML5, Angular 2 with Typescript and above, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript experience.
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles.

• Serve as the trusted advisor to leadership. Assess risks and opportunities versus annual company targets. Evaluate forecast outputs to optimize future results.
• Participate in appropriate training to enable the adoption of new processes, tools, and models.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency with Office software and SQL.
• Experience with large data sets and exposure to BI tools such as EPM, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, a plus.
